What to take
Feel free to add to our list, but this is a good basis for a romantic getaway in New Zealand.
Treats and eats. Champagne or a great gin and a pack of tonic. Chocolates. Cheese and crackers, grapes and antipasto. An exceptional bottle of red.
A warm fluffy rug for instant picnic spots or warm snuggles by the fire. A hot water bottle if your partner feels the cold easily. An extra woolly scarf for chivalrously flinging around them in windy spots.
A researched list of good restaurants nearby, and your top five awesome things to do. This way you can pull out a casual suggestion (which will turn out to be excellent) at a moment’s notice.
A gift for your lover. A Love Box, a piece of artisan jewellery, an organic New Zealand made skin care product or a small piece of art. Maybe you can find the perfect item on your holiday and support local artists!
A good book and a couple of magazines or ipad in case you just want to snuggle up together, and read or watch Netflix.
